Roasted Balsamic Onion Slices -

While onions are really important as a flavor base in most every dish, I like to use them as the star once in a while! Here, they do just that! These balsamic onion slices make a great veggie side to serve with your meal or a salad topper.

Ingredients

  • 2 Red Onions, peeled and sliced into rings
  • 1/2 Tsp. each Salt and Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 1 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F (190 C).
  2. Place onions on a parchment lined baking sheet and toss with remaining ingredients.
  3. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes, tossing once halfway through cooking.
