Apple Nachos -

Oooh yes Apple Nachos! Crisp apple slices are layered with melted peanut butter, caramel and toasted nuts – what could be better! This is a great “healthy” treat to have while watching a big game without the guilt!

Ingredients

  • 4 Large Apples, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 Cup Caramel
  • 4 Tbsp Toated Walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp Raisins

Preparation

  1. Place the peanut butter in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for about 45 seconds until melted and creamy.
  2. To assemble the nachos: Spread about ¼ of the apple slices on a platter. Top with a few chopped nuts and raisins and drizzle with the caramel and melted peanut butter. Top with more apple slices, walnuts raisins, caramel and peanut butter. Keep going until you have used up all your ingredients. Serve immediately.
